Universal Pictures has debuted the first trailer for Tony Gilroy’s The Bourne Legacy, starring Jeremy Renner, Rachel Weisz and Edward Norton. Tony Gilroy, the writer who provided the script backbone for the three Matt Damon Bourne movies finally gets his chance at directing the Bourne Series. This trailer is pure action setting up the world that there was always more than one agent in the Treadstone project. I’m really excited at the prospects of this new chapter in the Bourne universe.

The Bourne Legacy will release on August 3, 2012.
